Lighthouse’s headquarters has occasional vacancies for adjunct consultants, researchers and business development assistants.
Any current vacancies are listed here.
Internships
Due to the nature of the professional services we provide, Lighthouse does not offer internships for undergraduate or postgraduate students at any of our locations.
If you are an MBA candidate expecting to graduate next year, and wish to write your dissertation or thesis on a topic of interest to Lighthouse, please write to our London office.
Visiting research fellows
We welcome applications from researchers who wish to use the time to complete a specific task, such as writing up previously conducted research; using our research materials for a project or paper; or collaborating with staff on a particular issue. Fellows will be expected to be in residence for the duration of their fellowships, to participate in our activities and to present a paper during their fellowship.
Preference is given to doctoral candidates at London universities over the summer before or after their first year. Candidates with only limited post-doctoral experience and those who are becoming established scholars in their field may also apply. Normally applicants will not be considered if more than 2 years have elapsed since they received their PhD. (Exceptions will be made where a candidate’s post-doctoral career has been interrupted by, for example, maternity leave, childcare, or illness. In such cases, applications should be accompanied by a statement setting out the case for an exception being made.)
Fellows benefit from shared office space, internet and telephone, printing, photocopying and computer facilities, free access to our events, and access to the university libraries and other facilities at South Bank.
The main function of the non-stipendiary fellowship is to offer researchers who have already secured external funding at a London university the chance to participate in business life and enjoy the application of their skills to live business problems. Applicants must therefore have external funding support for the period. To apply, please send a copy of your two-page CV with a one-page outline of your proposed research and an indication of when you hope to hold the fellowship.
